A story of faith rediscovered, love put into action, and a gospel worth defending.

Elijah grew up in South Central Los Angeles, raised in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in a family with a long line of pastors. In his late teens he nearly walked away, discouraged by how often Christians failed to live up to the name they carried. At times he was almost ashamed to call himself one. He wanted a faith that was genuine and could actually change lives.
Music became the outlet. Elijah poured everything into songs with one hope: that someone across the world carrying the same pain and loneliness would hear them and know they were not alone. Every track was a search for something real.

On a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, Elijah served children living on a sugarcane plantation. They showed him that love is more than a feeling. It is the willful sacrifice of your own wants for the good of someone else. He released the Amor EP as a tribute to them, and the project grew into Amor Clothing, a brand that spreads love through intentional acts of kindness.
Elijah put Christianity on trial and studied the historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. What he found rebuilt his faith from the ground up. Christianity stopped being a tradition he inherited and became the truth he built his life on. From that point the gospel became the most important message he could ever share.

Elijah Johnson Apologetics began as Graceful Gatherings, a small Bible study in his living room. He livestreamed every session for a sobering reason: if he ever lost his life, the people he loved could still hear his voice preaching the gospel. Helping people truly understand Scripture became the heart of the work.
After a year of live discussions on TikTok, Elijah moved to YouTube and went live for nine straight months, often with two to six people watching. He kept showing up. In December the channel finally hit 1,000 subscribers, and nine months later the community passed 40,000. He does not take a single one of them for granted.

Elijah now serves in full-time apologetics ministry. He is committed to pursuing truth honestly, representing opposing views fairly, and admitting when he is wrong. The mission is simple: show that faith in Jesus is reasonable, make hard questions accessible, and proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Love is the willful sacrifice of one's wants for the betterment of someone else.
God called me to defend the faith full time. This work equips believers, reaches skeptics, and shows that following Jesus is both reasonable and life changing. Will you join me?
